HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

I can’t wait to see what this year brings. 2017 was a year for us to learn what direction we wanted to go for FTC. I mean we knew before but we have a REAL game plan this time. We know what steps we need to take to make FTC the inspiration we want it to be.

I want to take the time to thank all our followers, youtube subscribers, and patrons for your support. With you, FTC won’t be the success that it is now. You guys motivate us to keep going to spread the word of health and fitness in the otaku community.

We have big plans this year! You guys will have to stay tuned!

Thank you for reading this post. Remember to stay healthy and have a great day.

Patreon now or nah?

Hello, everyone! Happy Saturday! We are coming up on the time where we want to spread our wings and do our own thing. That would mean leaving our 9 – 5 jobs behind. This will give us so much freedom expand Fitness To Cosplay and everything else we want to do to the fullest. But we still need to pay bills.

What are our plans?

We want to create items to sell where the money will go straight to us and not FTC. I will add more content to our Twitch, Youtube, and other social media sites for FTC. Another thing is that we want to open a Patreon so that our fans can donate if they want to. Now, since we are so close to breaking away, I’m wondering if I should open a Patreon page now or after.

I’m always wanting to open one but Star says we have to wait to get out more content. What do you guys think? Would you help us on Patreon now or would you guys like to wait til later for me to add more content? Not only that. We know what other creators offer their patrons but since we are so different from most people, I don’t know what we can offer.

I know there’s things like merchandise, shoutouts, secret twitch streams, and other stuff. What do you think we should offer that will keep you guys coming back month after month? Thank you for your input!

Life Changing Decision

Hello, everyone.

I hope your weekend was eventful. I’ve been battling a cold so I’ve been taking my time and not doing so much. One thing I’ve done is thinking about my life and where I want it to go. I want to work for myself and Fitness To Cosplay. I want to create content for Youtube, Twitch and other media out there. For that, I need time. I’ve seen so many people talk about how they had to quit their job, do what they love and was successful doing it.

For some time now, I’ve been thinking why couldn’t I do it. I see so much potential and I truly believe that I will be able to do it. Now people who are close to me would normally tell me no, you aren’t sure that you can make the money. That it’s not a good idea. That’s why I haven’t told anyone. This is my decision and if it doesn’t work out, I’ll get a part-time job.

I, at least, want to try and make it since I have so much confidence. What I will do is upload videos to Youtube, stream on Twitch, go to craft shows with handmade products like my perler beads and Star’s jewelry wrapping. All I need to do is believe and work hard at it. I’ll give my two-week notice at my job next week.It will be easy because the job is really stressful. I work at a print shop and it’s really emotional draining. I keep stopping myself from

It will be easy because the job is really stressful. I work at a print shop and it’s really emotional draining. I keep stopping myself from quitting on the spot and not coming in. People who have had stressful jobs in the past will know what I mean. I’m excited about my decision and this will really change my life.

Thanks for reading and remember to STAY HEALTHY!

Patreon Tier Suggestion!

Hey, everyone! We need your help! We want to create a Patreon page as an another way to grow our business and continue to be inspirations to the community. We are having a hard time thinking of what the tiers should be. No one knows what they want better than the Patreons themselves! We are open to suggestions for what we should offer at different tiers. Also, let us know how much those tiers should be. If you don’t want to comment on this post, you can DM us. Thank you in advance for your advice. Without you guys, we won’t have grown so much already. Thank you for your support!

Post for Patreon goals coming soon.

Plans foiled again!

genshiken-planning-meet

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to the gym today because of life’s ever changing plans for our lives. Star was called into work so I was home uploading videos, binging on Youtube and going through some old clothes that we’ve held on for too long. Unfortunately the clothes were too old and worn for us to donate but we have clothes that we plan to donate.

Now I’m currently watching Netflix. Our plans for tonight are to go to Whole Foods and get dinner. Star will get cashews so she can make vegan cheese for her Alfredo pasta she wants to make tomorrow. I’m going to grab a lot of fruit and maybe some sweet potato to make some fries.
Tomorrow we have major plans because Omni Expo is getting closer and we need to plan out what we are going to do and sale. The booth will be a corner booth, so that means we will need to provide more product. This will be exciting. Good night guys.

Selling on Etsy

We opened a store on Etsy! We created some shirts to sell first before we move on to other items like, Journals. This is a new chapter and I’m so happy we made it this far. I hope the store takes off like a rocket. The money will go towards us going and vending at conventions and other trips. We will also give to a local charity in the future.

Been away

Sorry we’ve been away. Life has gotten busy and rocky. I’m not going to bore you with the details but right now we are trying to get our feet on solid ground while trying to conduct businesses of our own and keeping life balanced.

  1. Fitness To Cosplay
  2. Starling Grey
  3. Moon Hunting
  4. Fain Graphic Design

We are juggling so much right now, it’s insane. We are trying to take it one step at a time right now. Thank you for your patience!

One Foot Infront of the Other

It’s been a while since I last posted. I’ve been trying to get my life together one step at a time between my life in general, health, my freelance business and a art gallery that I’m trying to open. But I think it’s finally lining up like I want it to.

First off I need to concentrate on my health. I want to loose my last 20 lbs and it’s getting harder and harder because I’m starting to get comfortable where I am and that’s not what I want. I’m still eating right, it’s the exercising that I need to get back into. To motivate me to keep going, I’ve been taking instagram pics of my food and my calorie count on sparkpeople. I lost my gym membership, not that I would want to go now since so many people are there for the new years.

My business right now is going good. I just need to organize it a little more and use reminders because I’ve been forgetting lately and that’s not good for business. I’m also trying to save up and fundraiser to get a new computer. My laptop went out on me and now I’m using my gf Macbook Air which is good but not good enough for what I need. I need space. The storage space is horrible. I had to buy a external hard drive to help.

Another thing I’m doing is that I’m trying to open a Art Gallery/Studio/Graphic Design business called Mysteries. We already bought the name and now we are trying to file as a non-profit as well as try to get the business plan done. We are doing this ourselves with no help business we wanted to do this alone. If you want to follow our progress, here’s the link to the blog, mysteriesart.blogspot.com

This year is the year of accomplishment and by the end I want to be comfortable in what I’m doing and no stressing. Please continue to support me as you guys have been doing lately, I really appreciate it.
