Road To Rogue: Youfit Challenge

Hello everyone! Star and I are taking part in the Countdown To Change. It’s a Youfit challenge they have every year. You can win cash prizes. Star is doing it to win but I’m doing it to help motivate. If I’m part of a challenge, I know that I will stick to it and accomplish my goals. We weren’t able to do it last year. 3 times a week they have classes that you can take. I don’t know if you get a personal trainer. That would be cool though.

It ends April 1st. So that means you have 2 months and 1 week to lose as much weight as possible. They go by percent and not pounds. Thank goodness! We went to weight ourselves at the gym and the first scale was so off. It said I was 123 and I WISH that was true! LOL. That around the goal weight I want to be by Supercon.

I weighed myself this morning and I was 147.2. Yeah, WAY OFF. So he went to go get the dial scale. It said I was 143. Still off but oh well. Not 20 pounds off! So now it’s a race to the finish. Star and I said that we will take a picture of our own scale at home with the phone to show the date. This way, we can mark our own progress.

Thank you for reading this post! Wish us luck! Have a great day and remember to stay healthy!

Road To Rogue: Top 3 Reasons to Like Wireless Headphones

Hello everyone!

I hope your weekend was amazing. I took the time to relax is they are my rest days lol. Today I wanted to talk about the difference between regular headphones and wireless ones. I wanted to make this post to explain the reason why the wireless headphones are a great workout tool and, in my experience, is a necessity.

I use to look at other people with wireless headphones and thought, look at them being fancy with their expensive headphones. The fact that you can get a set for under $20 is recent. They were VERY expensive when they first came out. Everything is when it’s a new technology right?

Last year, when I took YouTube seriously, I wanted to do a video about two sets of inexpensive wireless headphones. I found one at Target for $10, not joking, and another set at Michael’s for $18. I wasn’t able to do the video but FYI I love the set at Michael’s. I use them every time I visit the gym.

Once I started to use them regularly, I saw a huge advantage of using them. First and the most obvious, no wires! I can’t count how many times my hand or arm hit the cord and either the buds were snatched out of my ears or my phone hit the floor. It was so annoying! Not only that but I would have to put the phone in my sports bra or inside my pants because there were, of course, attached.

Second, I can put my phone anywhere. Since there is no cord, I wouldn’t have to worry about where I placed my phone. I can put it on the floor beside me or in the machine water bottle holder. When I first realized this, it blew my mind. It felt so good doing workouts with free weights and knowing the phone can be in front of me on the floor and I can still hear the music.

Third, I won’t have to use my phone to change the song or the volume. With the controls being on the headphones, I can press one button. When I used the regular ones, I had to stop what I was doing, take out my phone and do it from there. For me, it kills my vibe.

I hoped this helped the people who were thinking about getting them. You don’t have to pay a high price. You can go to your local Walgreen, Target, Michael’s, anywhere and get a great set of headphones with good sound quality.

Thank you so much for reading my post. Have a great day and remember to stay healthy!

Not Attending Holiday Matsuri This Year

Hello everyone!

This year we will not be attending Holiday Matsuri aka Holmat this year. It was a hard decision but we decided to save that money towards equipment for the business. If we went, we would’ve spend almost 1k. Some of the money is going towards a savings account for the laser engraver and shirt machine. We decided on a certain amount of money during the month to put towards it.

The money we receive from our patrons will also be transferring to the same savings account. If you would like to put as little as $1 towards our efforts, go to patreon.com/fitnesstocosplay. A BIG thank to those that donated so far! Our goal is to purchase one of these machines by the middle of next year. At least, that’s what I hope lol.

For those attending, please have plenty of fun for us and take a lot of pictures for us to see. I will be staring at them and crying in a corner lol.

Good morning everyone! Here are all the videos I was able to upload on our Youtube channel for Florida Supercon 2017. I wasn’t able to cosplay but it was so much fun. I met a lot of friends and some interesting people! Enjoy the videos and if you haven’t already, please subscribe!

Road To Rogue Day 11

Hello,, everyone!

Sorry, it’s been a while since I last updated because of these past two weeks Star and I have had a bad cold. She was first and then transferred it to me lol. She was having a fever and I was really sneezing and coughing all over the place and I didn’t want to transfer to anyone else.

SO today I’m hoping to go to the gym today at 6. I’ll be walking to the gym because Star is at work with the car. I don’t mind. Extra cardio! I’m also going back on my intermittent fasting because I’ve learned that eating through the day, my body doesn’t like. It’s like I’m forcing my body to eat. For those of you that don’t know what intermittent fasting is, the definition below.

Intermittent fasting (IF) is a term for an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating.

  • The 16/8 Method: Also called the Leangains protocol, it involves skipping breakfast and restricting your daily eating period to 8 hours, for example from 1 pm to 9 pm. Then you “fast” for 16 hours in between.

The only thing I have in the morning is coffee which let’s admit it, COFFEE IS LIFE. Anyway, thank you to everyone that’s reading so far. Hopefully, I will not be getting sick again. But that’s life, you know? Today I’m vlogging for my personal channel, Tsuki Nerdy Fitness so subscribe to see those videos!

Thank you for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow. Remember to Stay Healthy!

Road To Rogue Day 10

Hello everyone,

Day 2 of Lee Labrada’s 12-Week Lean Body Trainer and my arms feels as if they are about the fall off. I love it though! I hope I can continue on it this time around and complete the entire plan. Also, to help me with my transformation, I’ve decided to go without refined sugars. That means no bars, sugar in my coffee, candy, and other things that have that type of sugar in it. I will do a blog post later on about the difference between refined and unrefined sugar.

Anyway! Today at work, my boss and a couple of coworkers weight themselves again. I didn’t because I know I had breakfast. I normally weigh myself after I use the bathroom in the morning. I know it’s not good to weigh yourself very morning but I love seeing the fluctuations every morning. This helps me know what works with my body and what doesn’t. If I eat something not good, my body will tell me the next morning. Don’t ask how I know, I just do lol. People, who do this understands right?

Like I said, today was Day 2 of Lee Labrada’s 12-Week Lean Body Trainer and I’m so happy that it was over! I almost couldn’t raise my arms to take my shirt off lol. I haven’t worked out like that in a while. It felt really good and I can’t wait for weeks to come. Star is preparing dinner for the rest of the week so get ready for some epic pictures!

Thank you guys for reading and I’ll you later. Remember to STAY HEALTHY!

Road to Rogue Day 4

Hello, everyone!

I hope your weekend was great! We had a convention and two craft shows to go to this weekend so I wasn’t concentrating on Rogue but I didn’t go overboard so yay lol. Today I forgot my lunch AGAIN and Star had my card so I couldn’t buy lunch. We had dinner at 3 and I had salami and aged cheddar but that’s one of my favorite things in the world and it was for a good price. The slices were thick. Yum. We also had chili with it. The market called Living Green that’s next to my job now is amazing. They have a great cooked food and great prices on groceries. The downside about it is their fruit is ripe so you have to eat it that day or it will spoil.

The market called Living Green that’s next to my job now is amazing. They have a great cooked food and great prices on groceries. The downside about it is their fruit is ripe so you have to eat it that day or it will spoil. As for exercising, we decided to do it tomorrow because we are going to OutCon in May which is next month and I really want to start on getting my inventory started. Unfortunately, I’m one of the people that would wait for that week and try to get everything done. I would get little sleep and go to the cons amped up on coffee lol.

Anyway, July is 3 months away and I will look great in that body suit! lol, What cosplay are you training for this year? I would love to know. Also what do you guys think of my new banner. I didn’t like using the image by itself so I decided to edited to make sense.

Thanks for reading and remember to STAY HEALTHY!

Road to Rogue Day 1

Hello everyone!
We’ve decided to go to Florida Supercon in July with a group of friends. We are all cosplaying Marvel Characters. I will go as Rogue and Star will go as Storm. Now Rogue is wearing a bodysuit which means I need to get my body in shape for it. We all know that a bodysuit will show everything and it’s unforgiving.

So everyday, hopefully, I will be posting my progress to get in shape for her. I’m so excited because I remember watching Rogue as a kid and thinking how much of a badass she was. I never gave cosplaying her much thought because I thought mostly of anime characters but I need to expand my options.

Now to let you guys know, I’m on a intermittent diet. If you want me to expand on this let me know.

Beginning Weight: 137.3

Morning:

Coffee and soy milk

Lunch:

1/2 cup Oatmeal and 4 Mango wedges

Dinner:

Meatball, mac and cheese, sautéed vegetable, and cooked chickpea

Exercise:

30 minutes of elliptical and youfit express circuit.

Thank you for reading, wish me luck, and remember STAY HEALTHY 💜!!!
