Good morning everyone.
If you follow our social media, you know already that we finally found a place. We moved in 2 weeks ago, and we still haven’t unpacked everything. The life of an anime collector, me and crafter, Star. I can’t wait to do a home tour for you guys. The house looks amazing and cute. It’s taking a while to get everything together. There’s enough room for me to workout and do yoga on the days we can’t go to the gym. There are those days.
We are currently balancing out our bills. We didn’t know how high the deposits on the utilities were going to be. So we are struggling a little bit, but that’s OK. The past two weeks, we haven’t been going to the gym every day, but that’s to be expected because of moving. We think we‘ll be able to jump back on the horse today and continue on our journey.
Star‘s new weight is 138. She’s eating one meal a day, and she is making sure she’s eating a full day of calories. I, on the other hand, has gone in the opposite direction ha ha. I’ve gained three lbs but it’s not as bad as I thought. With the way that I‘ve been eating, I thought I was going to gain 7 lbs ha ha.
That’s our update for now. I will be updating the blog more in the future. I’m also coming up with ideas for our YouTube Channel. I want to bring back Manga Mondays. If you have any ideas, let us know. I have the space to record videos, and I’m praying to get my gaming channel up soon as well. Thank you so much for being patient and keeping up with our blog. Last week I started a new workout plan and for the past two weeks, I‘ve been eating healthily. Well with a little cheat meal here and there. I try not to look at myself in the mirror now because every time I look, I‘m looking for a big change when it’s not there.
Well this weekend, I walked by a big mirror and glanced. I looked smaller. I told myself I was lying to myself and kept walking. LOL. I told Star what happened and she said that I did look smaller. That’s such a confidence boost!
We haven’t made it to the store for groceries yet. I’m hoping to go on Wednesday. But we are keeping up with our healthy snacks. Today Star went to Publix and saw the cherries were on sale, $3.99/lb! Now I have cherries to snack on at work.
Today is chest and triceps day. I‘m so ready for it! Once this week is over, I will know for sure that I‘m back to my old self. Thanks for reading this post. Remember to stay healthy and have a great day!

I walked into the gym ready to get my first day of an exercise plan I had in motion. I had walked past the free weights and saw the area filled with me. I was still optimistic that I would be able to do all my exercises without any problems. Man was I wrong!
I walked out of the changing room looking at my phone to see what’s the first exercise. Once I found that out, I looked at the bench I needed. It was taken. Ok, still feeling good, I looked at next exercise. That bench was taken up too. Ok… I got this. What’s the next exercise? Dips. Ok, that was free.
I finished my supersets of that I then looked at the benches again, still taken. Ok, so what’s after Dips, the Pec-Deck Machine. Now the gym I go to have two of those machines because many people use them… they were BOTH taken. For crying out loud!
I finally see a bench clear and rush over before someone else gets it. I get my weigh and below is what I see at the free weights.
I can’t begin explaining the level of frustration. The thing is I know this is because people are hogging the weights. If you aren’t using them, then put them back! Well, I was able to do my workout but only have the equipment I needed became free. I waited a long time. There’s a bigger gym 15 minutes away from this one but Star’s job is right next door.

It’s June and our plans to settle have been dashed for now. We are once again delayed, and I can’t wait anymore. I wanted to be in a place where I’m relaxed and where I feel like I can achieve anything. But I’m not at that place right now and I can’t allow that immobilizes me any longer.
I need to be more disciplined in the way that I eat and exercise. I have to really FORCE myself to go to the gym at times that I don’t want to. I thought back to the times when I was a gym rat and no matter what time of day it was, I was getting my time in.
Now if I get home at night, even though the gym closes at 12 am, I don’t want to go. The most enjoyable times that I feel motivated to go are 12 pm – 1 pm and that’s impossible. The times I work are from 8:30 to 5 pm. I have to find time after work. Every so often I don’t go because Star and I are tired from the day but that shouldn’t be my excuse. Drink a pre-workout and get going!
I enjoy the ones from Amino Energy. They are delicious, and they don’t hurt Star’s stomach. Sometime this week I will go and get a tub. My goal is to go every day. My minimum is 3 days a week. I will place my concentration on strength training. I always fall back on cardio once I don’t go for a while.

This past month, I have lost 5 pounds! If I keep this up, I will be ready for Florida Supercon in 4 months! I have been using what I’ve learned in the last post about different body types and lowering my fat intake. The problem that I’ve seem to be having is getting enough protein. I might have to take some protein pills or drink some protein shakes just the get the extra amount in.
Another way I’m trying to help myself lose weight is planning my life. On YouTube, It would seem that planning has a huge community and I stumbled upon it. Now I’m addicted and always watching Plan With Me videos. When I use to plan, I didn’t know what to do with the stickers and the washi tapes. I dropped it so easily. But know I have an idea and the videos I watch will keep me going if I’m stuck. I’m thinking about buying stickers off of Etsy. Maybe I can find some Anime or Manga ones. That would be so cool!
The planner I will be using is The Big Happy Planner from Michael’s. I’m going to use the planner for a couple of weeks and then I will make my own Plan With Me videos. Anyone interested in that? The videos I’ve seen have been stay-at-home mothers. I’m a person that goes to the gym and have their own business. I will even add meal plans. That sounds fun to me.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog!
Star and I have massive plans this year, and one of them is making a big comeback at Supercon. She asked who I wanted to cosplay and Rogue was such a fail last year. I will try my best this year to do her justice as well as making our other cosplays amazing! This is how I will go by doing this. Each day I will post on the blog about what food I eat because Star hasn’t started right on the blog yet, the exercises we’ve done. If there any anything new I‘ve learned about myself along this journey healthwise.
You never know yourself fully. You are always learning, and I want to share everything with the rest of you. It’s fitting that this is happening on the 1st of February. It feels good to start anything on the first of a month, even though I would recommend starting when you can.
Yesterday we found out that our situation at the moment will take longer than expected to work out. So we may be looking at March for when things are settled down. I seriously missed making videos for you guys to watch. I’m taking this time to arrange everything so when it’s time, there will be no stress. It is January 24th! Can someone tell me why time is going so fast!? Anyway, for the past 2 weeks, I’ve been going to the gym right after work and I’m getting used to doing it. This is great because soon I will be able to auto myself to go to the gym after work without a problem. I’ve decided to have my rest days as the weekend because my body doesn’t want to leave the bed let alone the house after a week of work. LOL. I like to Youtube and Chill during Saturday and Sunday.
Should that become a shirt design? 🤔 Anyways, I’ve come out with a workout plan and I hope I can keep up with it. I’ve been alternating between cardio days and strength training days through the week. I’ve fallen back in love with Kettlebells again because I’ve used them a couple of times for a workout. They are a great alternative for free weights. Especially since they are being hogged by the “New Year New Me” crowd.
Honestly, I can’t wait for that to past. I mean I want people to live healthily and take care of their bodies but I don’t like the people that do it at the beginning of the year because it’s a trend and then drop off. It’s a pain in the butt to the regulars. That’s all I have for now. I’m happy with the way I’m going right now. My goal is the reach my body goal by June or July. Wish me luck!
