Road To Rogue: -5 Pounds Down And Started Planning

Hello everyone!

This past month, I have lost 5 pounds! If I keep this up, I will be ready for Florida Supercon in 4 months! I have been using what I’ve learned in the last post about different body types and lowering my fat intake. The problem that I’ve seem to be having is getting enough protein. I might have to take some protein pills or drink some protein shakes just the get the extra amount in.

Another way I’m trying to help myself lose weight is planning my life. On YouTube, It would seem that planning has a huge community and I stumbled upon it. Now I’m addicted and always watching Plan With Me videos. When I use to plan, I didn’t know what to do with the stickers and the washi tapes. I dropped it so easily. But know I have an idea and the videos I watch will keep me going if I’m stuck. I’m thinking about buying stickers off of Etsy. Maybe I can find some Anime or Manga ones. That would be so cool!

The planner I will be using is The Big Happy Planner from Michael’s. I’m going to use the planner for a couple of weeks and then I will make my own Plan With Me videos. Anyone interested in that? The videos I’ve seen have been stay-at-home mothers. I’m a person that goes to the gym and have their own business. I will even add meal plans. That sounds fun to me.

Hopefully, this will be a big part of my life and my weight loss journey. You can’t go off the path if it’s already planned. Thank you guys for reading this post. Let me know if you plan in the comments. Have a great day and remember to say healthy!

If you would like to know which body type you are, here’s the What Is Your Body Type? Take Our Test! From Bodybuilding.com

I found out that I’m a Mesomorph. So here’s what I know about the Macros of Mesomorphs. They are supposed to eat 40% Carbs, 30% Fat, and 30% Protein. The time limit for a workout should be an hour and no longer. You will feel fatigued if you overdo it. Which has happened to me countless times and now I know why.

Here’s the training regime recommended by rachaelattard.com.

Regular cardio will be the key factor in keeping your body from gaining fat and compound weight exercises will help you achieve lean muscle. Here are some key guidelines:

  • Weight training 3 times per week
  • Moderate cardio 3 times per week
  • HIIT 1-2 times per week
  • Ab exercises 3 times per week
  • One rest day per week

Your weights should be moderately heavy and your reps moderate to high (8-12). The more advanced you are, the heavier your weight can be. Keep the rest between your sets at around 45-60 seconds.

As you can see, I’ve gathered information from multiple sources. When you are researching information, it’s great to not depend on one source. Look into multiple websites and books to make sure you are getting the right information. Thank you guys for reading this post. If you take the test, let me know which body type you are. I’m very interested. I hope the information helps you on your weight loss journey. I might give an update in two weeks explaining how this has helped me. Remember to stay healthy and have a great day!

Road To Rogue: Youfit Challenge

Hello everyone! Star and I are taking part in the Countdown To Change. It’s a Youfit challenge they have every year. You can win cash prizes. Star is doing it to win but I’m doing it to help motivate. If I’m part of a challenge, I know that I will stick to it and accomplish my goals. We weren’t able to do it last year. 3 times a week they have classes that you can take. I don’t know if you get a personal trainer. That would be cool though.

It ends April 1st. So that means you have 2 months and 1 week to lose as much weight as possible. They go by percent and not pounds. Thank goodness! We went to weight ourselves at the gym and the first scale was so off. It said I was 123 and I WISH that was true! LOL. That around the goal weight I want to be by Supercon.

I weighed myself this morning and I was 147.2. Yeah, WAY OFF. So he went to go get the dial scale. It said I was 143. Still off but oh well. Not 20 pounds off! So now it’s a race to the finish. Star and I said that we will take a picture of our own scale at home with the phone to show the date. This way, we can mark our own progress.

Thank you for reading this post! Wish us luck! Have a great day and remember to stay healthy!

Road To Rogue: Top 3 Reasons to Like Wireless Headphones

Hello everyone!

I hope your weekend was amazing. I took the time to relax is they are my rest days lol. Today I wanted to talk about the difference between regular headphones and wireless ones. I wanted to make this post to explain the reason why the wireless headphones are a great workout tool and, in my experience, is a necessity.

I use to look at other people with wireless headphones and thought, look at them being fancy with their expensive headphones. The fact that you can get a set for under $20 is recent. They were VERY expensive when they first came out. Everything is when it’s a new technology right?

Last year, when I took YouTube seriously, I wanted to do a video about two sets of inexpensive wireless headphones. I found one at Target for $10, not joking, and another set at Michael’s for $18. I wasn’t able to do the video but FYI I love the set at Michael’s. I use them every time I visit the gym.

Once I started to use them regularly, I saw a huge advantage of using them. First and the most obvious, no wires! I can’t count how many times my hand or arm hit the cord and either the buds were snatched out of my ears or my phone hit the floor. It was so annoying! Not only that but I would have to put the phone in my sports bra or inside my pants because there were, of course, attached.

Second, I can put my phone anywhere. Since there is no cord, I wouldn’t have to worry about where I placed my phone. I can put it on the floor beside me or in the machine water bottle holder. When I first realized this, it blew my mind. It felt so good doing workouts with free weights and knowing the phone can be in front of me on the floor and I can still hear the music.

Third, I won’t have to use my phone to change the song or the volume. With the controls being on the headphones, I can press one button. When I used the regular ones, I had to stop what I was doing, take out my phone and do it from there. For me, it kills my vibe.

I hoped this helped the people who were thinking about getting them. You don’t have to pay a high price. You can go to your local Walgreen, Target, Michael’s, anywhere and get a great set of headphones with good sound quality.

Thank you so much for reading my post. Have a great day and remember to stay healthy!

Road To Rogue Coming Back!

Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog!

Star and I have massive plans this year, and one of them is making a big comeback at Supercon. She asked who I wanted to cosplay and Rogue was such a fail last year. I will try my best this year to do her justice as well as making our other cosplays amazing! This is how I will go by doing this. Each day I will post on the blog about what food I eat because Star hasn’t started right on the blog yet, the exercises we’ve done. If there any anything new I‘ve learned about myself along this journey healthwise.

You never know yourself fully. You are always learning, and I want to share everything with the rest of you. It’s fitting that this is happening on the 1st of February. It feels good to start anything on the first of a month, even though I would recommend starting when you can.

Yesterday we found out that our situation at the moment will take longer than expected to work out. So we may be looking at March for when things are settled down. I seriously missed making videos for you guys to watch. I’m taking this time to arrange everything so when it’s time, there will be no stress. Here’s the link to our youtube channel so when we start uploading videos again, you will see it in your subscriptions! Still feels good having a custom URL after hitting 100 subs.

I want to take the time out to say that if you like everything we are trying to accomplish, please check out our patreon. Your contributions to the site will help us keep FTC inspiring cosplayers and others around the world to live a healthy lifestyle

I recognize so much we can do in the future and I can‘t wait to be able to do them. 2017 was a year of learning and 2018 is a year of action! Thank you guys so much for reading this blog post! Please follow the blog to not miss any of my future Road to Rogue and any other posts. Also, we will be sending out emails about special events, store sales and anything else we are having so please subscribe to our email list.

Getting Back Into The Rythem

Hello everyone!

It is January 24th! Can someone tell me why time is going so fast!? Anyway, for the past 2 weeks, I’ve been going to the gym right after work and I’m getting used to doing it. This is great because soon I will be able to auto myself to go to the gym after work without a problem. I’ve decided to have my rest days as the weekend because my body doesn’t want to leave the bed let alone the house after a week of work. LOL. I like to Youtube and Chill during Saturday and Sunday.

Should that become a shirt design? 🤔 Anyways, I’ve come out with a workout plan and I hope I can keep up with it. I’ve been alternating between cardio days and strength training days through the week. I’ve fallen back in love with Kettlebells again because I’ve used them a couple of times for a workout. They are a great alternative for free weights. Especially since they are being hogged by the “New Year New Me” crowd.

Honestly, I can’t wait for that to past. I mean I want people to live healthily and take care of their bodies but I don’t like the people that do it at the beginning of the year because it’s a trend and then drop off. It’s a pain in the butt to the regulars. That’s all I have for now. I’m happy with the way I’m going right now. My goal is the reach my body goal by June or July. Wish me luck!

Thank you for reading this post! Remember to hit the like if you liked it, follow the blog if you haven’t already, and remember to stay healthy and have a great day!

Things Are Changing In 2018

Hello everyone!

I hope 2018 is treating you well so far. We are starting off this year with moving to a new place. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to create videos for a while unless I do some sort of vlog. Currently, we are looking for a new home but that’s not stopping us from achieving our goals. We’ve been going to the gym consistently this week. We are working on eating healthy because we are trying to save money. We all know that eating healthy is expensive but we are watching ourselves.

While we were moving, my poor phone was broken and couldn’t be used. I’m getting a new one but it won’t be an iPhone. It’s ok though. I need a phone. Things might be rough right now but we know what the endgame is and this makes it easier. Out with the old and in with the new. We aren’t letting this get us down. We know it’s a good thing.

Thank you guys for reading the post. Remember to stay healthy and have a great day!

I can’t wait to see what this year brings. 2017 was a year for us to learn what direction we wanted to go for FTC. I mean we knew before but we have a REAL game plan this time. We know what steps we need to take to make FTC the inspiration we want it to be.

I want to take the time to thank all our followers, youtube subscribers, and patrons for your support. With you, FTC won’t be the success that it is now. You guys motivate us to keep going to spread the word of health and fitness in the otaku community.
