Last week I started a new workout plan and for the past two weeks, I‘ve been eating healthily. Well with a little cheat meal here and there. I try not to look at myself in the mirror now because every time I look, I‘m looking for a big change when it’s not there.
Well this weekend, I walked by a big mirror and glanced. I looked smaller. I told myself I was lying to myself and kept walking. LOL. I told Star what happened and she said that I did look smaller. That’s such a confidence boost!
We haven’t made it to the store for groceries yet. I’m hoping to go on Wednesday. But we are keeping up with our healthy snacks. Today Star went to Publix and saw the cherries were on sale, $3.99/lb! Now I have cherries to snack on at work.
Today is chest and triceps day. I‘m so ready for it! Once this week is over, I will know for sure that I‘m back to my old self. Thanks for reading this post. Remember to stay healthy and have a great day!

I walked into the gym ready to get my first day of an exercise plan I had in motion. I had walked past the free weights and saw the area filled with me. I was still optimistic that I would be able to do all my exercises without any problems. Man was I wrong!
I walked out of the changing room looking at my phone to see what’s the first exercise. Once I found that out, I looked at the bench I needed. It was taken. Ok, still feeling good, I looked at next exercise. That bench was taken up too. Ok… I got this. What’s the next exercise? Dips. Ok, that was free.
I finished my supersets of that I then looked at the benches again, still taken. Ok, so what’s after Dips, the Pec-Deck Machine. Now the gym I go to have two of those machines because many people use them… they were BOTH taken. For crying out loud!
I finally see a bench clear and rush over before someone else gets it. I get my weigh and below is what I see at the free weights.
I can’t begin explaining the level of frustration. The thing is I know this is because people are hogging the weights. If you aren’t using them, then put them back! Well, I was able to do my workout but only have the equipment I needed became free. I waited a long time. There’s a bigger gym 15 minutes away from this one but Star’s job is right next door.

It’s June and our plans to settle have been dashed for now. We are once again delayed, and I can’t wait anymore. I wanted to be in a place where I’m relaxed and where I feel like I can achieve anything. But I’m not at that place right now and I can’t allow that immobilizes me any longer.
I need to be more disciplined in the way that I eat and exercise. I have to really FORCE myself to go to the gym at times that I don’t want to. I thought back to the times when I was a gym rat and no matter what time of day it was, I was getting my time in.
Now if I get home at night, even though the gym closes at 12 am, I don’t want to go. The most enjoyable times that I feel motivated to go are 12 pm – 1 pm and that’s impossible. The times I work are from 8:30 to 5 pm. I have to find time after work. Every so often I don’t go because Star and I are tired from the day but that shouldn’t be my excuse. Drink a pre-workout and get going!
I enjoy the ones from Amino Energy. They are delicious, and they don’t hurt Star’s stomach. Sometime this week I will go and get a tub. My goal is to go every day. My minimum is 3 days a week. I will place my concentration on strength training. I always fall back on cardio once I don’t go for a while.

Hello everyone! Star and I are taking part in the Countdown To Change. It’s a Youfit challenge they have every year. You can win cash prizes. Star is doing it to win but I’m doing it to help motivate. If I’m part of a challenge, I know that I will stick to it and accomplish my goals. We weren’t able to do it last year. 3 times a week they have classes that you can take. I don’t know if you get a personal trainer. That would be cool though.
It ends April 1st. So that means you have 2 months and 1 week to lose as much weight as possible. They go by percent and not pounds. Thank goodness! We went to weight ourselves at the gym and the first scale was so off. It said I was 123 and I WISH that was true! LOL. That around the goal weight I want to be by Supercon.
I weighed myself this morning and I was 147.2. Yeah, WAY OFF. So he went to go get the dial scale. It said I was 143. Still off but oh well. Not 20 pounds off! So now it’s a race to the finish. Star and I said that we will take a picture of our own scale at home with the phone to show the date. This way, we can mark our own progress.

Happy hump day! Today I was good with calories until I started eating Star’s popcorn. I swear I can’t resist! Unfortunately, It’s too late to go to the gym because Star is going to do her sisters hair tonight or else I would’ve gone after I’ve done this post. Since our gym close at 12 AM then we can go at 10 or 11.
I’m more of a night owl anyway. I do wish I could go to the gym during the day though because I never know what will happen after I get off of work. Today we had dinner instead of going to the gym right after work. What I thought would happen, happened and we did not go to the gym because as we are sitting here eating dinner, we got busy doing other things.
Star went to go make more popcorn for the Farmer’s Markets this weekend, hence why I said I went downhill at the end of the night lol. But that’s ok! So, for now, I’m 1/7 on gym days but I’m determined. I count Monday as the beginning of my week instead of Sunday just so you know.

Lunch: Pistachios and Chobani Flip Banana and Chocolate yogurt
Snack: 2 Small powdered donuts (A coworker gave me a pack to try because he said they came from Mexico. They remind me of the little Debbie powdered donuts but with less powder. Still good though!)
Dinner: Fish with salad and pita. (Below is a picture of a past plate because I forgot to take a picture of tonight’s plate lol)
Dessert: Lots and LOTS of different popcorn lol. Classic Movie, Ambrosia, and Tiramisu. (If you want to see different pictures of the flavors, let me know.)

Hello, everyone! When I skip days, I’ll just continue on the next day.
When I skip days, I’ll just continue on the next day. So! Today is Day 7, not really but yeah, and I think I did well today! I stayed within my calorie goal and I went to the gym! I might want to upload blogs at night because at least I will know how I did through the day instead of guessing lol.
We went to the gym after work and I think that’s what we will be doing for now on. When we eat dinner, we don’t want to move afterward because the day has wined down on us and we feel exhausted. So going before we go home to eat dinner will help a lot. Let me know if you would like to see me post Road to Rogue as a vlog on my blog Tsuki Nerdy Fitness. I’m thinking about doing it.
This week will be the cardio week because, with mother nature knocking at my door and other items at the moment, I feel like I need to concentrate more on burning calories than weight training. I will be trying to binge on the water this week, more than normal to help with the amount of water I will loose. I want to be at 135-130 at the end of the month and I hope that it can be done. If not, it’s not the end of the world. I will be starting a countdown for Supercon to help get my butt in gear!

Yesterday, I picked up my cousin from the airport and we hung out for a while catching up. I haven’t seen him in more than… maybe 10 years? We are close so seeing him again was great. He was supposed to land at 2 but his flight was delayed by 2 hours. Sucks right? So when I left him at the hotel, it was 6, I think. By this time I was REALLY hungry. I didn’t have much for lunch. I was going to have the chili but I wanted a slice of banana nut bread instead with an aloe drink.For Breakfast, I did have my smoothie. When I was leaving him, I craved pizza. Just don’t go overboard and eat the entire pizza lol. I had two slices and two bread sticks.
As for the gym, we weren’t able to go because of picking up my cousin and going to see The Fate Of The Furious. The movie was great. I would definitely see it again. Thanks to a friend of ours, are able to see some movies as soon as they come out Thursday night. I didn’t think that still happened. But I will tell you one thing, watching a movie in a not so crowded theater is amazing. The downfall is going to bed after 12 but that’s worth it.
