On my last post, I said how Star has recently started eating OMAD style. Well, now I want to try it. I normally eat with an intermittent lifestyle. I would start eating at 1pm then I pushed it back to 3pm. I want to see how my body reacts to the OMAD lifestyle. Will it hold onto everything I eat at dinner time. Or will it process everything like normal. It’s already been stated that we didn’t eat the best for the past few weeks because of the move.
Once we get paid, we are doing grocery shopping and we will find some OMAD recipes to share with all of you. I will also be doing our first haul since the move and I’m so excited! Let me know if you want to see a weekly grocery haul. We use to do it a while back.
I think this is my first time experiencing OMAD so I’m approaching this like a newbie and trying to learn everything I can. I don’t want to do the diet wrong. Next month I would like to do a video on my progress and experience.

Good morning everyone.
If you follow our social media, you know already that we finally found a place. We moved in 2 weeks ago, and we still haven’t unpacked everything. The life of an anime collector, me and crafter, Star. I can’t wait to do a home tour for you guys. The house looks amazing and cute. It’s taking a while to get everything together. There’s enough room for me to workout and do yoga on the days we can’t go to the gym. There are those days.
We are currently balancing out our bills. We didn’t know how high the deposits on the utilities were going to be. So we are struggling a little bit, but that’s OK. The past two weeks, we haven’t been going to the gym every day, but that’s to be expected because of moving. We think we‘ll be able to jump back on the horse today and continue on our journey.
Star‘s new weight is 138. She’s eating one meal a day, and she is making sure she’s eating a full day of calories. I, on the other hand, has gone in the opposite direction ha ha. I’ve gained three lbs but it’s not as bad as I thought. With the way that I‘ve been eating, I thought I was going to gain 7 lbs ha ha.
That’s our update for now. I will be updating the blog more in the future. I’m also coming up with ideas for our YouTube Channel. I want to bring back Manga Mondays. I walked into the gym ready to get my first day of an exercise plan I had in motion. I had walked past the free weights and saw the area filled with me. I was still optimistic that I would be able to do all my exercises without any problems. Man was I wrong!
I walked out of the changing room looking at my phone to see what’s the first exercise. Once I found that out, I looked at the bench I needed. It was taken. Ok, still feeling good, I looked at next exercise. That bench was taken up too. Ok… I got this. What’s the next exercise? Dips. Ok, that was free.
I finished my supersets of that I then looked at the benches again, still taken. Ok, so what’s after Dips, the Pec-Deck Machine. Now the gym I go to have two of those machines because many people use them… they were BOTH taken. For crying out loud!
I finally see a bench clear and rush over before someone else gets it. I get my weigh and below is what I see at the free weights.
I can’t begin explaining the level of frustration. The thing is I know this is because people are hogging the weights. If you aren’t using them, then put them back! Well, I was able to do my workout but only have the equipment I needed became free. I waited a long time. There’s a bigger gym 15 minutes away from this one but Star’s job is right next door.

For those of you that don’t know, we were vegan for a year. The reason why we aren’t vegan anymore is personal. But we still utilize some of the things we learned while being vegan in our day-to-day lives. Such as, I no longer use milk in my coffee. I would rather use soy or almond milk instead. I don’t consume much meat anymore, just a little bit.
I found this website called A Billion Vegans and it connects you to other vegans around the world. I enjoy the way the website looks. It’s clean and organized. You can definitely make friends. People share recipes and inspirational photos. I have not come across any extremist on the website, so every post is pleasant. I thoroughly recommend you guys check it out. It‘s new at the moment and I hope it takes off.
2018 has made some life-changing situations in our lives since the 2nd of the year. The universe has continued to cleanse us of everything that isn’t useful or for our good. We welcome it but it’s really a struggle right now. But we aren’t giving up.
We won’t be going to Florida Supercon this year because of financial hardship so we are aiming for Megacon Tampa Bay in September. We don’t know who we will cosplay. Rogue and Storm are meant for Supercon so they will have to wait for next year. If you want to know who we will cosplay, check out our Patreon. It’s the middle of the week. Time is going by fast. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been looking at a lot of videos on Youtube from Fitspo Youtubers. One of the videos was about constipation.
When you are using MyFitnessPal, they will default you to 1200. I started to realize that once I did this, I started to become constipated. I increased my calorie intake up to 1350 because I went to a calorie counter on a website. I still don’t think I eat enough. So now I will increase my calories to 1500 and see if that’s enough for my body to not have an issue.
Years ago, I used to use Bodybuilding.com to help me find a good program to use. Now they want you to pay $8.99 for the programs when they were once free. It’s really annoying because I love using the apps they have. Two of my favorite programs was Lean Body and Shortcut to Shred. I searched online for a similar program and came across a free ebook for Shortcut to Shred from the Bodybuilding website. They had the 6-week workout plan and I’m SO happy I found it. I can pull up the pdf on my phone and follow the workouts. They also have a meal plan but I would rather find my own meals.

This past month, I have lost 5 pounds! If I keep this up, I will be ready for Florida Supercon in 4 months! I have been using what I’ve learned in the last post about different body types and lowering my fat intake. The problem that I’ve seem to be having is getting enough protein. I might have to take some protein pills or drink some protein shakes just the get the extra amount in.
Another way I’m trying to help myself lose weight is planning my life. On YouTube, It would seem that planning has a huge community and I stumbled upon it. Now I’m addicted and always watching Plan With Me videos. When I use to plan, I didn’t know what to do with the stickers and the washi tapes. I dropped it so easily. But know I have an idea and the videos I watch will keep me going if I’m stuck. I’m thinking about buying stickers off of Etsy. Maybe I can find some Anime or Manga ones. That would be so cool!
The planner I will be using is The Big Happy Planner from Michael’s. I’m going to use the planner for a couple of weeks and then I will make my own Plan With Me videos. Anyone interested in that? The videos I’ve seen have been stay-at-home mothers. I’m a person that goes to the gym and have their own business. I will even add meal plans. That sounds fun to me.
