Run Otaku Run Year Challenge – Week 15 Day 2

Mondays seems to be the days we can DEFINITELY go to the gym and not have to worry about what we have to do afterwards. So yesterday, we walked into the gym and say that they were going to start cycling class. We asked them when and they said today and you’ll need to sign up at 6:30. We went to go do some strength training and then came back at 6:00 right to beat the possible rush and they said that it had to be 6:30 on the dot. Fine! So we went to go exercise some more and came back at 6:25. People were lining up but we were able to sign up. What they didn’t tell us was that the class was at 7:30. VERY important information.

So we went to do circuit since we had to wait 30 minutes. Ten minutes before class started, we decided to leave circuit so we can get a bike. As we walked, a girl stopped us and asked about our shirts. I had our logo printed on shirts and we wore them as our gym shirts. She asked if it was a group and that she’s very interested. We told her about it and she was very excited. She said that she wanted to be a part of it. That’s great!

After we talked to her, we went to our class with 4 minutes to spare. Our instructor was a man, gay (not that it matters) and totally hilarious. He had us laughing the entire workout. He made it so fun and let everyone know that they can do it at their own pace. Good to know.

Suta was a freaking star! She looked amazing. She said that she loved doing cycling class and it showed! I, on the other had, well, I don’t know I looked. A lady said I looked awesome but I don’t know. That’s my second cycling class ever. I enjoyed it. When he said that you was going to sweat, he was kidding! OMG I had sweat dripping off me and I’ve never had that done before for a workout. I’ll definitely start doing cycling classes every Monday.

Run Otaku Run Year Challenge – Day 2

It felt so good going back to the gym after a week. We hit the elliptical hard even though we only did it for 30 minutes. We normally go for an hour. We choose to do GREEN.

  • 50 Jumping Jacks
  • 50 Squats
  • 20 Crunches
  • 20 minutes Cardio

Doing the squats, I’ve realized that I was able to go down deeper than before. Who knows, maybe the week off was a good thing. The jumping jacks was a improvement as well but I still don’t like to do them because of my big boobs. But oh well you do what you must. We are to rest every other day so that will only be cardio days for an hour. Unless Star wants to run then I’ll would speed walk on the treadmill.

Attending The Green Planet Festival

Tomorrow we will be going to the Green Planet Festival in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I think this is its first year. It’s too bad that we’ve learned about this festival too late because we would have been sponsors. If the festival becomes a big success and they have another one, we will be sponsors for that one. I’m really excited because I personally have never been to this type of festival. The info about it is at the bottom. It will be a great learning experience, since Fitness To Cosplay is on a path of healthy and organic foods. We also use natural products. We want to take care of the planet as much as possible and this festival will help a lot with providing that knowledge. If you want to check out the website and learn more about it, click here. Year Challenge – Week 5 – Day 3 Complete!

Good morning everyone. I woke up with my legs feeling sorta sore today and that’s awesome. My arms not so much but this weeks challenge worked out more of the legs then the arms. I’m going to plow through the jumping jacks this week (grimace) but it’s all worth it in the end. Between Youfit and Zoo, I like the Youfit much better because of the atmosphere and updated equipment. I can’t wait for the one closer to my job open up.

Hello everyone! New Week, New Challenge! Still got jumping jacks but I gotta find something to help me make it easier. My cousin said that Victoria Secret would fit me in a sport bar that would hold me better when I jump. I’ll go check it out. I’ll also research online because jumping exercises are good cardio. Gets the heart moving.

No food diary today because I forgot to finish it yesterday. Oops.

Year Challenge - Week 5

Week 4 – Day 2 Challenge Complete!

Hi. Sorry I haven’t been posting my challenges. I’m working on a website for FTC that I want to move the blog too. I’m trying to come up with the design and everything and so my attention has been of my blog here. I’m wondering if I should keep my WordPress blog up once the website is finished or use the blog space that the hosting of the site will offer. What do you guys think? I would really like your comments on this.

Ok so, I’ve started a new challenge this week that my cousin Braxton came up with since it’s his turn. He wants us to do;

  • 50 Jumping Jacks – That I modified because I’m top-heavy and jumping constantly like that hurts.
  • 50 Chair Dips – I’m really trying on this one. I’ve never done chair dips before. I’m going to try different areas in the house other than the chair in the video because it’s very difficult.
  • 25 Squats
  • 25 Mason Twists

I’m feeling the burn from this week’s challenge. Working out the upper and lower body in the same workout was a great idea.

Sad news. The gym that was done the street of my job was supposed to open on the 17th but now they pushed it back to the end of the month. AAAAHHHHH!! They should have sent a notice! My gym bag was packed and I was ready to go. Got to the door where the employees were standing and they tell me that they won’t open until the end of the month. How discerning! 😦

Challenge #2 – Day 5 Complete

Yesterday, I got home late but that didn’t stop me. After I had dinner, I waited for my food to digest then set to work. It has become easy to the exercises and my cousin says that my body has gotten use to doing them. I wonder if that’s a bad thing. I’m enjoying jump roping. When I do calisthenics during my workout, I think I’ll add a little bit of jumping.

Week Challenge #2 – Day 2

Yesterday I was able to do a video of my workouts. When I looked back at the videos, I saw how much I suck! lol I pray at the end of all of this, I can get through a workout without looking silly and dying at the end. lol

I need to find other sit-ups to do because the regular ones hurt. I saw my cousin do one where he’s legs are up in the air and he moves upward. I think I’ll try that today. The floor hurts though! I also did the rope jumping without shoes. I kept hitting my toes! Ouch! I’ll wear my sneakers tonight. Always a learning curve. I joined Youfit! So on the days that I can, I’ll go to the gym and do the challenges there.

My calves are so tight. Kinda hard to walk but that’s a sign of progress so I’m not complaining, much. lol
