Run Otaku Run Year Challenge Week 13!

This week is core week for the challenge! This will help me balance with the week I had last week. Still haven’t gone to the gym yet but I hopefully we’ll go today. We had an unplanned meeting yesterday and it ran well into the night. I’m doing the intermittent fast again today to try to reset my body. I feel so bad about not doing my post for the challenge but sometimes life gets in the way, you’ll just have to work around and don’t give it up!

Bloating Suggestion Test

Hello Guys. Happy Thursday. So I started my “Moon Time” and remember when I posted about how to avoid the bloat? I’m going to try out those suggestions and see if it really helps. I’ve gained 3lbs because of it and I want to see if these suggestions will help me lower the bloat or get rid of it complete. I will post when it’s over to let you guys know. Run Otaku Run Year Challenge Week 12

Hello Everyone. I hope your weekend was fun and exciting. We didn’t go to the gym because we took the time out to clean the house as much as we could. We still got some ways to go because we get some so late that we go straight to sleep. Hopefully in the future, we’ll have more time on the weekends to get some things done.

Ok so it’s WEEK 12 of Run Otaku Run Year Challenge. I’ve seen some changes in my body and I’m happy with what I’m seeing. Now we’ve gained weight but we don’t see any extra fat, so hopefully it’s the weight of gaining muscle. α•™(β–€ΜΏΜΏΔΉΜ―ΜΏΜΏβ–€ΜΏ ΜΏ) α•—

  • 25 Squats
  • 20 Back Lunges
  • 25 Calf Raises

This week is LEG WEEK from the combination that my cousin has come up with. I’m fine with that. My arms are still a little sore from last week’s challenge. lol


Run Otaku Run Year Challenge WEEK 11

This week’s challenge is…

  • Squats
  • Dumbbell Pullover
  • Dumbbell Press
  • Leg Lifts

I wanted to workout more than one body part this week. There are three ways to do leg lifts. You can do this on the floor or use the machines. I prefer the machines really but it makes you work harder. It makes you engage your core more.

Run Otaku Run Year Challenge – Week 10 – Day 2 Complete (Tuck and Roll)

Good afternoon everyone! This week’s challenge is to do Sit Ups, Roll Over then do Pushups. I was a little skeptical about it because the sit ups were hard for me to do in the beginning. Since I’m top heavy, I have more weight to lift and that’s annoying when you want to do exercises like sit ups and pushups.

Once I started, I was shocked! It was so easy for me to do a sit up with MUCH strain. When you see the video below, you’ll see that I almost lost balance at one point but I was able to get back to the workout. I’m so proud of myself. It’s such an accomplishment. Granted that wasn’t a regular sit up but hey, I was able to lift myself off the ground!

Now I’m wondering what other exercises I can do that I couldn’t do before! This challenge has helped me so much. I wish I could share it with other people but no one has asked to join. I’m not giving up though! One of the missions of Fitness To Cosplay is to inspire and there’s no way I’m giving up!

Magic City Comic Con 2015

We had a blast! It was the first con we’ve been too. So much fun. Got a lot of research from seeing how the booths were set up and how the people navigated around the area. The Kickstarter 101 was really interesting and informational. I got my shirt signed! We can’t wait to be able to be vendors and sell our products. So exciting. Step-by-Step is the way to go though. πŸ˜€

Rest Day, A day of muscles catching up to you

My poor muscles! The day before I did the challenge and they said no more, we want to take a breathe! So yesterday, we didn’t go to the gym, although I really wanted to go on the elliptical for 30 mins at least and do some stretches. Someone above must have known my secret agenda because I had to stay REALLY late at work and I wasn’t able to go. We had dinner late, not a healthy dinner mind you, and went home to go to bed. My muscles feel a lot better so we will go to the gym today and work out Day 5 of the Run Otaku Run Year Challenge – Give Me Muscles Goku!

Year Challenge – Week 5 – Day 3 Complete!

Good morning everyone. I woke up with my legs feeling sorta sore today and that’s awesome. My arms not so much but this weeks challenge worked out more of the legs then the arms. I’m going to plow through the jumping jacks this week (grimace) but it’s all worth it in the end. Between Youfit and Zoo, I like the Youfit much better because of the atmosphere and updated equipment. I can’t wait for the one closer to my job open up.
