Seeing Progress. Stump in the Road.


Hello, everyone!

This week, Star and I have been seeing progress from our working out. Both of us has been able to increase the weight. We went from 30 lbs to 60! We found this out because the weights we normally use was taken, and hogged, so we had to go the next weight up. We were both shocked! After that, every exercise we did, we increased the weight to see if we complete the exercises and we did. Just another show of progress and we are both excited for it.

It’s a week before Florida Supercon and mother nature has shown her face. It’s frustrating because we are trying to lose weight and become tone for our cosplays and mother nature placed a bump in the road. Oh well. We are women and know that it’s something that won’t last forever. It just stifles our progress. It’s not the end of the world.

MY ESCAPE

Road To Rogue Day 12


Hello everyone! Supercon is 1 month and 27 days away! Yes, I have a countdown on my phone lol. Star and I want to go all 4 days and each day we will cosplay different characters.

Here are our cosplans and we keep switching the days we want to cosplay them lol.

Cosplans:

 

 

I will cosplay Rogue while Star will cosplay Storm.

 

I will be Diane while Star will be Ban. She will not genderbend Ban, so that means she needs to get the stomach tight lol.

I will be Yoruichi and Star will be Soi Fon from Bleach.

I will be Shampoo and Star will be Fem Ranma

Supercon will be so much fun and I can’t wait to show you how to plans came out. As for today, we both went to the gym this morning and then we went grocery shopping for the week. We worked out with a friend whose training another friend.


Breakfast: Nothing because we got up late and I did some work before we went to the gym at 11.

Lunch: Protein Drink

Snack: Food samples at Trader Joes

Dinner: Baked Ziti with lettuce

Workout: 22 mins on the elliptical • chest exercises with free weights and machines

Road To Rogue Day 8


Hello, everyone!

Happy hump day! Today I was good with calories until I started eating Star’s popcorn. I swear I can’t resist! Unfortunately, It’s too late to go to the gym because Star is going to do her sisters hair tonight or else I would’ve gone after I’ve done this post. Since our gym close at 12 AM then we can go at 10 or 11.

I’m more of a night owl anyway. I do wish I could go to the gym during the day though because I never know what will happen after I get off of work. Today we had dinner instead of going to the gym right after work. What I thought would happen, happened and we did not go to the gym because as we are sitting here eating dinner, we got busy doing other things.

Star went to go make more popcorn for the Farmer’s Markets this weekend, hence why I said I went downhill at the end of the night lol. But that’s ok! So, for now, I’m 1/7 on gym days but I’m determined. I count Monday as the beginning of my week instead of Sunday just so you know.

Breakfast: Coffee and Cafe Mocha Creamer

Lunch: Pistachios and Chobani Flip Banana and Chocolate yogurt

Snack: 2 Small powdered donuts (A coworker gave me a pack to try because he said they came from Mexico. They remind me of the little Debbie powdered donuts but with less powder. Still good though!)

Dinner: Fish with salad and pita. (Below is a picture of a past plate because I forgot to take a picture of tonight’s plate lol)

Dessert: Lots and LOTS of different popcorn lol. Classic Movie, Ambrosia, and Tiramisu. (If you want to see different pictures of the flavors, let me know.)

Life Changing Decision


Hello, everyone.

I hope your weekend was eventful. I’ve been battling a cold so I’ve been taking my time and not doing so much. One thing I’ve done is thinking about my life and where I want it to go. I want to work for myself and Fitness To Cosplay. I want to create content for Youtube, Twitch and other media out there. For that, I need time. I’ve seen so many people talk about how they had to quit their job, do what they love and was successful doing it.

For some time now, I’ve been thinking why couldn’t I do it. I see so much potential and I truly believe that I will be able to do it. Now people who are close to me would normally tell me no, you aren’t sure that you can make the money. That it’s not a good idea. That’s why I haven’t told anyone. This is my decision and if it doesn’t work out, I’ll get a part-time job.

I, at least, want to try and make it since I have so much confidence. What I will do is upload videos to Youtube, stream on Twitch, go to craft shows with handmade products like my perler beads and Star’s jewelry wrapping. All I need to do is believe and work hard at it. I’ll give my two-week notice at my job next week.It will be easy because the job is really stressful. I work at a print shop and it’s really emotional draining. I keep stopping myself from

People who have had stressful jobs in the past will know what I mean. I’m excited about my decision and this will really change my life.

Okama Con Expectations


I think that we will have a lot of fun. One day conventions so far have been the best. People know it’s one day so whatever you want, you will need to get as soon as you see them. I’m wondering who I will see there tomorrow.

Oh! Okamacon is an LGBT convention that’s hosted by OUTcon, another LGBT convention. I’m so happy that this was created because it shows love for the ones under the rainbow. I didn’t go to OUTcon last year because we didn’t know about it until we saw other people posting about it on Instagram. This year, we will go when they post what days they will be.

I would be the one that says, Hey I’m going to track my day to day progress with fitbit and then miss a day. Ugh. Anyways, Day 2 was low activity because we decided to stay home and try to get some items done for Holiday Matsuri. Time got away from us and the gym was closed by the time we realized.

Day 3 was much better. We walked to Denny’s to get breakfast. It’s a couple of blocks from the house. Afterwards, we walked to the gym which was still walking distance but far. At the gym, we worked on our arms and did 30 mins of cardio. We walked home and then went to Joann’s for more supplies. Once we came home, we stayed in and burned the midnight oil. It’s going to be a crazy two weeks.

That’s Day 2 and 3, thanks for reading. It’s motiving me to keep moving so far. It’s definitely helping me want to go to the gym more just so I can reach my step goal. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. DO IT FOR COSPLAY!

 

Fitbit Track Day 1

Hello, Everyone! Instead of posting the stats at the end of the night, I’ve decided to do it the next day. It’s not going to be around the same time because I work during the week. I will be posting during the evenings.

Yesterday was quite busy at work because one of the graphic designers are work was on vacation and was out during the week and the printer went wasn’t there yesterday because he was visiting his mom in Mexico. So guess who everyone turned to lol. I was literally walking from desk to desk while people were calling my name for a question or a task.

So far, though, I’ve gone above 4k on steps. It’s not hard. Once I walk in and start my day with talking to people over the counter, answering phone calls and checking emails while doing my own graphic design jobs, I’m surprised at how many steps I can accomplish. But if I only rely on my job to help me keep up with my steps and calories burning goal, I will never reach my 8k goal. So I have to go to the gym after work. I’m not complaining! I love working out.

I’ve joined this workout called Lean body. It’s a 12-week program that gives you a series of exercises to do. They have an app that you can use instead of using the website. I use this when I want to do some strength training. On the days I do, I just walk on the elliptical or treadmill. If I add the Stair stepper, I will have to do that first but everyone knows how that machine can wear you out.

It’s two weeks from Holiday Matsuri and we are feeling the pressure. Star is creating cosplay and I’m trying to get a good amount done on my perler art. It’s so much fun but it is time-consuming. You have to set time out for it and right now instead of doing that, I’m stuck doing something I shouldn’t be doing. Nothing bad. I’m just doing something else other than creating some products but oh well. I will have to stay up late tonight to make up for lost time.
