Road To Rogue Day 11


Hello,, everyone!

Sorry, it’s been a while since I last updated because of these past two weeks Star and I have had a bad cold. She was first and then transferred it to me lol. She was having a fever and I was really sneezing and coughing all over the place and I didn’t want to transfer to anyone else.

SO today I’m hoping to go to the gym today at 6. I’ll be walking to the gym because Star is at work with the car. I don’t mind. Extra cardio! I’m also going back on my intermittent fasting because I’ve learned that eating through the day, my body doesn’t like. It’s like I’m forcing my body to eat. For those of you that don’t know what intermittent fasting is, the definition below.

Intermittent fasting (IF) is a term for an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating.

  • The 16/8 Method: Also called the Leangains protocol, it involves skipping breakfast and restricting your daily eating period to 8 hours, for example from 1 pm to 9 pm. Then you “fast” for 16 hours in between.

The only thing I have in the morning is coffee which let’s admit it, COFFEE IS LIFE. Anyway, thank you to everyone that’s reading so far. Hopefully, I will not be getting sick again. Road To Rogue Day 10


Hello everyone,

Day 2 of Lee Labrada’s 12-Week Lean Body Trainer and my arms feels as if they are about the fall off. I love it though! I hope I can continue on it this time around and complete the entire plan. Also, to help me with my transformation, I’ve decided to go without refined sugars. That means no bars, sugar in my coffee, candy, and other things that have that type of sugar in it. I will do a blog post later on about the difference between refined and unrefined sugar.

Anyway! Today at work, my boss and a couple of coworkers weight themselves again. I didn’t because I know I had breakfast. I normally weigh myself after I use the bathroom in the morning. I know it’s not good to weigh yourself very morning but I love seeing the fluctuations every morning. This helps me know what works with my body and what doesn’t. If I eat something not good, my body will tell me the next morning. Don’t ask how I know, I just do lol. People, who do this understands right?

Like I said, today was Day 2 of Lee Labrada’s 12-Week Lean Body Trainer and I’m so happy that it was over! I almost couldn’t raise my arms to take my shirt off lol. I haven’t worked out like that in a while. It felt really good and I can’t wait for weeks to come. Star is preparing dinner for the rest of the week so get ready for some epic pictures!

Hello everyone!

So this morning I got on the scale to see that I gained 1.3 lbs overnight. Which isn’t a big deal but it’s also not normal for me even if I don’t exercise that day. So I backtracked to what I ate to have caused it. I forgot to add that I had a small Dairy Queen Reese’s extreme because it was new and I LOVE Reese’s!

So maybe I’m bloated from that? Could I have gained an intolerance to ice cream? 🤔 Who knows but that’s the only difference that I have had all week. So I’ll stay a wake from ice cream for a while. I know that I will probably loose the bloat by tomorrow.

Breakfast:

Starbucks Grande Soy Misto

Lunch:

Pistachios BECAUSE I FORGOT MY LUNCH 😭

Dinner:

1/2 rack of ribs.

Exercise:

Either Elliptical or Circuit/Elliptical. We will see.

Road to Rogue Day 2


Hello, everyone!

My legs are sore from the circuit yesterday and I welcome it with open arms lol. I love the feeling of soreness because it means I did something right!



Yesterday while we were starting the circuit, a guy was using a machine and we thought that he was there for his set. I went it came time to use that machine, I walked up to see his keys and a phone was on it. He wasn’t using the machine at the time. So I skipped that one and went to another to wait for a time he was done.

He wasn’t done. Not. The. Entire. 30 mins of the circuit! He kept traveling from two machines. The two machines I haven’t done yet! For those of you out there that does this, please stop!

You are disrupting the flow of the circuit and the same machines you are using are in other areas of the gym!

Oatmeal and mango spears

Pasta, beef patties, and spinach

Exercise:

No exercise. I decided to stay home to create PerlerArt for Hero Hype. I will post about that con later!

Road to Rogue Day 1


Hello everyone!
We’ve decided to go to Florida Supercon in July with a group of friends. We are all cosplaying Marvel Characters. I will go as Rogue and Star will go as Storm. Now Rogue is wearing a bodysuit which means I need to get my body in shape for it. We all know that a bodysuit will show everything and it’s unforgiving.

So everyday, hopefully, I will be posting my progress to get in shape for her. I’m so excited because I remember watching Rogue as a kid and thinking how much of a badass she was. I never gave cosplaying her much thought because I thought mostly of anime characters but I need to expand my options.

Now to let you guys know, I’m on a intermittent diet. If you want me to expand on this let me know.

Beginning Weight: 137.3

Morning:

Coffee and soy milk

Lunch:

1/2 cup Oatmeal and 4 Mango wedges

Dinner:

Meatball, mac and cheese, sautéed vegetable, and cooked chickpea

Exercise:


30 minutes of elliptical and youfit express circuit.
